Summer Hair Care: Adjusting Your Routine for the Season

As summer approaches, it's time to tweak your hair care routine to keep your hair healthy and happy in the heat.

Let's dive into some quick and easy tips to ensure your hair stays healthy all summer long.

Hydrate: Drink plenty of water and use moisturising hair products to combat dryness caused by the sun and heat.

Sun Protection: Shield your hair from UV damage with hats or UV-protective hair products.

Regular Trims: Keep your ends healthy and split-end free with regular trims at the start of summer.

Deep Conditioning: Treat your hair to weekly deep conditioning treatments to replenish moisture lost to the sun.

Protective Styles: Try braids, buns, or ponytails to keep your hair off your face and shielded from the sun.

Post-Swim Rinse: Rinse your hair after swimming to remove chlorine and saltwater, then follow with conditioner.

Gentle Detangling: Use a wide-tooth comb to detangle wet hair gently, starting from the ends and working your way up. we would recommend our Luxury Wide Tooth Comb to glide through tangles and knots with ease.

Take care when fragile: Hair is most fragile when wet, to ensure you are taking care of your hair this summer we recommend using our XL Luxury Hair Wrap when your hair is wet to minimise damage. Also make sure to use a gentle hair brush to prevent breakage and that is gentle on the scalp, for this we recommend using our Luxury Paddle Brush.

Stay cool: Avoid heavy styling products and keep your scalp cool and dry to prevent irritation and build-up.

Limit Heat Styling: Embrace your natural texture or opt for heat-free styles to minimise damage from styling tools.
